Goals

  1. Provide an ongoing training program for all personnel involved in the student disciplinary process: investigators, adjudicators, sanctions, appeals, etc.

    • Student Conduct Working Group will:
      • Choose online and/or in-person victim-centered, trauma informed training programs for all personnel involved in the disciplinary process (with help of working group) to be offered bi-annually (for in-person training), and on an ongoing basis (for online programs)
      • Along with working group members, create and proctor yearly surveys on participant opinion of said training program(s) for assessment
  2. Have clear and streamlined policies, which effectively convey:

    • the procedures for addressing incidents of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking that align with our UNM campus culture for all parts of campus

  3. Have clearly identified response protocols and resource lists for each of our Advocacy Centers that are

    • available for our entire UNM campus community (including faculty & staff), with supportive and advocacy measures clearly defined

  4. Expand regular training for all conduct staff and boards involved with the campus resolution process to:

    • include specific best practice training for situations of sexual assault, domestic/dating violence and stalking. UNM will also develop consistency around training and onboarding of new committee members
