Prevention Education

Members include representatives from:
Student Activities, College Enrichment Program (CEP), Athletics, Rape Crisis Center, Student Housing, Counselor Education, HR, Office of Equal Opportunity, and the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center
Goals
Provide a mandatory prevention education training for all incoming freshmen and transfer students
- Prevention Education Working Group will:
- Work to support The Grey Area, offering help to LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center in whatever ways possible
- Prevention Education Working Group will:
Provide a bystander intervention program available for all students
- Prevention Education Working Group will:
- Maintain dissemination and participant data collection of selected online bystander intervention program(s)
- Along with working group members, create and proctor yearly surveys on participant & community opinion on the bystander intervention program(s)
- Along with working group members (both from North Campus & Prevention Ed working groups), create and proctor yearly surveys on participant & community opinion professional student bystander program
- Prevention Education Working Group will:
Provide ongoing prevention programs
- Prevention Education Working Group will:
- Collaborate with both on campus departments (i.e. LRAC, SHAC, WRC, LGBTQ RC, Ethnic Centers, etc.) and community partners (RCC, DVRC, Tricklock, etc.) on ongoing and/or one-time prevention programs offerings to students
- Monitor data and create surveys for all provided programming
